A performing arts education play critical role in promoting equity in learning and health. CW's instructors are actively performing artists. Their health and safety for themselves and their fellow cast members is crucial to the return of Broadway entertainment and education. While make best efforts to accommodate our instructors, our school partners, and our participants, the health and safety of our instructors remain at the forefront.
Celebrity Workshops follows the latest guidance from the CDC, federal, state and local authorities. Our policies and procedures will continue to evolve as conditions change. Due to the rapidly changing governance of federal, state, local and union requirements, all policies and procedures may change without notice.
Celebrity Workshops is committed to the health and safety of all our instructors, faculty, staff, school partners, participants, and families.
Our school partner administrators will take a temperature check of all staff and participants. Anyone who’s temperature is greater than 100 degrees Fahrenheit, will be asked to return home.
Celebrity Workshops will provide health and safety questions that school partners are required to ask all participants.
If you have any covid-19 symptoms the day of your workshops, please call your school administrator to cancel your participation.
If you come to your workshop with symptoms, even if your symptoms are mild, we will ask you to return home.
Please call your medical provider if you say yes to any of the questions above or if they are severe or concerning.
Anyone who answers yes to the screening questions will not be permitted to attend the workshop.
Masking is required at all times, regardless of vaccination status.
Those who do not adhere to our masking policy may be asked to leave.
Instructors will maintain six (6) feet of distance from all school administrators and participants.
Waiting and offices areas are organized to facilitate three feet of social distancing between patients.
Students will maintain at least three (3) feet distance from all participants during the workshop.
The school must maintain capacity limits.
Washing hands can prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Schools should teach and reinforce proper hand washing to lower the risk of spreading viruses, including the virus that causes covid-19.
Schools will provide proper soap and hand sanitizer stations prior to entry into the school waiting room and in classrooms.
If washing hands is not possible, school partners programs will provide hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol.
Hand sanitizers should be stored up, away, and out of sight of younger children.
Schools should teach and reinforce covering coughs and sneezes to help keep individuals from getting and spreading infectious diseases, including covid-19.
Everyone should avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouth.
Schools will provide the instructor with the proper sound equipment, accessories and cords to play their music.
All equipment will be properly cleaned before and after use.
When possible, the school will provide the instructor a microphone to reduce the need to project to be heard.
School partners must clean all surfaces, floors, and equipment before and after the workshop to reduce the risk of spreading germs.
Visitors are not allowed inside any instructor spaces.
School partners must enforce all rule, policies and procedures outline in Celebrity Workshop’s documents, website, and contracts.
The school must notify Celebrity Workshops via email at celebs@celebrityworkshops.com if anyone during or seven (7) days prior to the workshop experiences covid-19 symptoms or test positive for covid-19.
Celebrity Workshops will notify the instructor via email and text message of any school partner’s positive covid-19 tests.
